COLORADO RIVER / FISHER TOWERS TRIPS

Enjoy a fun-filled day on the Colorado River. Choose between our morning or mid-dayhalf-day river trips. For those who would like to stay all day, you may find our full-day trip attractive. Whatever your choice, you'll enjoy the spectacular scenery as well as the Colorado River.

Please bring a hat for the sun, suntan lotion and clothes in which you will be comfortably wet. We suggest shoes that will stay on and can get wet. We furnish containers for your cameras and personal items as well as Coast Guard approved life jackets. (If requesting inflatable kayaks at moderate water levels, $20 per boat extra.)

COLORADO RIVER / WESTWATER CANYON (Class 3-4) ONE-DAY WHITEWATER - (DEPARTS DAILY)

This proposed Wild and Scenic River is totally isolated from modern civilization. Westwater Canyon is a canyon of serene solitude surrounded by red sandstone spires. The river cascades through the ever-deepening sandstone monuments and into the narrow Black Granite Gorge. Here the river meets opposition from the canyon walls creating the fast and furious rapids such as Funnel Falls, Last Chance, The Steps, and of course, the infamous Skull Rapid that give Westwater its reputation of highly exciting rafting trips on the Colorado.

This trip is designed for adventure seekers and canyon lovers and especially those looking for great rapids on a remote and regulated river. The number of people allowed to run the Westwater Canyon is strictly regulated, therefore, keeping the number of people on the river to a very small amount. This will allow for a better chance of seeing wildlife and just experiencing the true remoteness of the Westwater Canyon.

Meet at our office at 6:45 am. Departs daily at 7:00 am; Return about 5:00 pm

JEEP/RIVER COMBINATION (Jeep portion only in Canyonlands National Park)

Combination half-day jeeping with a half-day river trip on the Colorado River through the Fisher Towers section. Picnic lunch included. (See Canyonlands Jeep AM/PM and Raft AM/PM for trip descriptions.)

CALM WATER RECREATIONAL SIT-ON KAYAK AND SEA KAYAK HALF DAY TOURS (approx. 3 hrs depending on water levels)

Kayak through the calm waters of the Colorado River just outside of Moab, Utah. Option of single and tandom kayaks available for a leisurely float through geologic time amongst the pristine canyons of the Colorado River. Novice to experienced paddlers can enjoy the great outdoors as guide's will teach you the proper techniques for an enjoyable half day.

Trip Departures:

HIKING TOURS

GRANSTAFF TRAIL (aka NEGRO BILL CANYON)

This moderately easy hike is 2 miles long & approximately 3.5 hours. The trail follows a perennial clear steam through a deep sandstone canyon among willows and cottonwoods. This trail ends at Morning Glory Natural Bridge, which is 243 feet long and the sixth longest natural rock span in the United States. Great for children 8 and up.

CORONA ARCH TRAIL:

This fairly easy hike is 1.5 miles & approximately 3 hours. You will be hiking up Bootlegger Canyon with beautiful scenery of both Corona Arch and Bow Tie Arch, with views of the Colorado River. Great for children 8 and up.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARD TOURS

Experience paddle boarding in a new and fast growing way! Paddle, swim, and relax as you travel down a calm stretch of the lake or river. Transportation, board rental, instruction, guide, snacks and water are included. Approximate time on the river/lake is 3 hours (time may vary based on water levels). Adults (18+): $65 Youth (17-under): $50 Meets daily at 8:45 AM to depart at 9:00 AM and 1:45 PM to depart at 2:00 PM

CANYONLANDS BY JET BOAT

All jet boat tours offered by Adrift Adventures are hosted by Canyonlands By Night & Day. The various jet boat tours allow guests to experience the beauty and majesty of the Colorado River corridor from a different perspective. Soaring canyon walls, towering cliffs of a thousand hues, and the quiet majesty of this great river provide a splendid backdrop and surrounding for all these tours.

Herons and egrets stalk the beaches and sandbars, ravens and eagles soar overhead. Deer, beaver, porcupines, and even bobcat and bighorn sheep may be seen along the river banks. Learn the history of the area - "wildcat" oil drillers, ranchers, and early steamboat ventures. Pause now and then for an easy stroll to points of interest and, on full-day trips, for an elaborate picnic lunch served to leave an indelible impression. Carefully estimate how much camera memory cards you will want to have along, and then bring twice as much - you'll probably need it.

FULL–DAY COMBINATION 3-HOUR JET BOAT/ LUNCH / 4-HOUR JEEP TRIP

Jet boat will be traveling into Canyonlands National Park. Meet at our office at 8:30 am, return about 5:00 p.m.
Jeep tour will go into the backcountry of Canyonlands National Park. Jet boat travels down the Colorado River into the park.
$170 adult / $152 child (4 to 12)

3/4 DAY COMBINATION JET BOAT/JEEP TRIP - (lunch included)
1 hour Jet boat, lunch, and 4 hour Jeep trip
Jeep tour will go into the backcountry of Canyonlands National Park. (Jet Boat operated outside the Canyonlands National Park boundary) Meet at our office 10:30 am and return 5:00 pm.
Adult: $134 / $116 Child (4 to 12)

Age & Weight Requirements
Sorry, we cannot accommodate anyone under 60lbs. due to the life jackets required for everyone to wear.  To qualify for a youth price, your child must be between the ages of 8 – 12.
Choose from either the morning 9 AM, 10:30 AM, 4 PM, or 6 PM trip.

COLORADO RIVER / CATARACT CANYON ONE-DAY (Ultimate whitewater adventure during the high water season!)

ONE DAY TRIP: Departs 7 am daily. The morning is flat water with lunch at the Confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. After lunch enjoy the rapids ride through Mile Long Rapid and the Big Drop Rapids of Cataract Canyon. Later in the afternoon you'll motor off Lake Powell to Hite Marina with a van ride (included) back to Moab. Lunch included. $425 PP Adult/Child (10 years and up based on water conditions) includes guide and lunch. (4% access fee not included in all Cataract Canyon trips. Return time approx. 7-9 pm)
